St Martin's Church, Wareham, was built in Saxon times, with a series of wall paintings from 12th Century
It also houses the effigy of T.E. Lawrence (of Arabia), by Eric Kennington, originally intended for St Paul's Cathedral
The Inn sign at the Duke of Wellington Inn, Wareham, has a rear view as well as a face view of the Duke and his famous boot !
